La Veta Winter #1 - Risograph Art Print
The quiet of winter in the Spanish Peaks of Colorado as a monotone Risograph art print.
This Risograph Art Print was made from a photo taken in February 2021 with a Fuji x100F. In February, I visited a friend near La Veta in the Spanish Peaks of Colorado. I took a quick drive and as it does there, a winter storm was adding more snow to the heavy snow fallen overnight. La Veta which means vein or streak, has a large vertical granite walls and rock outcroppings near them. And if you catch them in the winter, during the fall, or in the afternoon the photography is incredible.
These prints are a simple one-color black with a medium half-tone. I think a perfect mix for snowy day in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
